this test was introduced for the U-examinations.\nOn 01.09.2016, the new guideline came into force as part of the U-examinations.\nIt requires the pediatrician to carry out the Br\u00fcckner test with the direct ophthalmoscope from U4 to U7.\nThe following areas are tested:\n1. leukocoria and Br\u00fcckner test,\n2. strabismus,\n3. efference and\n4. afference.\nThere are over 4,000 cases of tumors in children every year, which can be detected early by a thorough eye examination.         <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-e2638b6-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-e2638b6-font-size ); font-style: var( --e-global-typography-e2638b6-font-style ); font-weight: var(
