support such a wonderful project.<br \/>\nDuring my studies, I worked as a volunteer in the pediatric oncology department in M\u00fcnster for many years.<br \/>\nI was always impressed by the joy and positivity with which the children met me.<br \/>\nNow, after my studies, I work as an ophthalmologist and know the hurdles and challenges that the diseases of my specialty bring with them in everyday life.<br \/>\nThis makes it all the more wonderful to be able to support a foundation that offers those affected, siblings and their families a place to exchange ideas and togetherness.    <br \/><strong>Initially shy children blossom, new friendships are made &#8211; and a genuine child&#8217;s smile at the end of a KAKS day says more than a thousand
