my left eye as a result. I&#8217;ve been living with just one eye for 28 years now and get on very well with it. I can drive, do sports, go to the movies and hardly notice any limitations. Since I received an implant as a so-called &#8220;eyeball replacement&#8221; in 2009 and have been wearing a plastic eye ever since, hardly anyone notices that I have a prosthesis. I am open to everything, approach people and enjoy my job as a registrar.
