Survivor meeting in the Eifel
From August 25 to 27, the Survivors and Encouragers of the Children’s Eye Cancer Foundation met at Steinfeld Monastery in the Eifel region.
In addition to long walks and conversations, lots of sharing and valuable thoughts, there was a large workshop on Saturday afternoon led by Christiana Muth, head of psycho-oncology at the University Hospital in Cologne.
In the end, I was all in agreement: very special people meet here and valuable friendships and connections are formed on days like this.
The exchange of experiences is of immense value.
KAKS invites people to these meetings every two years.
The next one will take place in summer 2025.
