“Should we take the eye out straight away?”
That was the question my parents were asked when I was diagnosed with RB.
I was 3 and yes, the left eye had to be removed immediately.
A shock, especially for my parents.
I wanted to become a make-up artist, so I moved from Hamburg to Berlin.
I met my wonderful partner last year and we’ve been living together in a small apartment since April.
I’m taking part in KAKS because I know how families feel when they’re diagnosed with cancer, because I want to give them courage, because I want to show the world that everything can turn out well.
