Screening started in Bangladesh

We are so happy about these pictures: hundreds of little children standing in a row and looking into each other’s eyes!
And in the background a strong partner: the Chittagong Eye Infirmary in the south of Bangladesh, the most prestigious eye clinic in the country.
Children there are treated by Dr. Soma Roy, who was trained by KAKS for a year in India at the Centre of Sight in Hyderabad.
The clinic was able to be equipped to a good standard as part of a global grant in cooperation with Rotary International amounting to almost 150,000 euros, so that the children can now also receive very good treatment.
