“I am an orthoptist and live with my family in Austria. My daughter Kaya has retinoblastoma and was treated by Prof. Francis Munier in Lausanne. Her affected eye was saved thanks to weekly, state-of-the-art therapies. Since then, it has been clear to me that as an orthoptist I want to support affected families during the intensive period of therapy, offer advice and assistance and show them what they can do to train their child’s vision. I am delighted to be a volunteer at KAKS, to share my experiences and support families.”
